Q: Why did you get into Interior Design?

A: The flexibility of architecture and the whole process of design with the possibilities of what you can do with interior space always fascinated me, either it was a bar, a retail shop , or a residence.

Q: How did you start up your career?

A: It was 2011 when I finished my studies in architecture and returned to my home town where I rent a space about 20 m2 and that was it!

Q: Where does your inspiration come from?

A: I am inspired by art, street art, fashion, gadgets, comics, urban environment and engineering. With these main elements I try to create a visually captivating style that renders a contemporary aesthetic.

Q: Can you tell us about a significant accomplishment or project that you regard as notable?

A: Memphis Bar was a big challenge because it is one of the oldest bars in Greece and the place where I grew up. It is in my hometown and I had the luck and opportunity to completely redesign it 27 years after the first time it opened. The feedback was so cool.

Ballers Cafe was a another significant project because it was a totally new approach & proposal in terms of interior design of sports cafes.

Q: Where would you like to see your company in 5 years from now?

A: I don't consider my studio as a ''big'' company. My goal is to design bigger projects (because I enjoy new challenges), some future publishes, more recognition for my work and I would like to do some projects abroad.

Q: What project(s) are you working on at the moment?

A: I just finished Spinos Micro Roastery and I am working on a butcher shop and a dental Clinique.

Q: How do you think an Interior Designer should dress?

A: One colour T-shirt, Sneakers , coloured swatch and stylish & functional backpack but I guess every designer has their own style and it is better that way because diversity is what makes us unique.

Q: If you could design anything, what would it be?

A: Vinyl Toys!

Q: What type of restaurant would you choose to go to for dinner?

A: I love Pop up restaurants.

Q: Can you give us a statement about Design

A: Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication

Q: If you could describe your designs related to food, what would it be and why?

A: It is sweet with a light taste of both bitter & spice because all elements are necessary (no matter how small they are) for the best final result.

Q: What do you think of the design trends in the future?

A: Every new trend is welcomed but I think the design should be human - centered first and captivating a personal style.

Q: Who is your favorite Designer and why?

A: They are too many but I admire Patricia Urquiola because she is always innovative.

Q: In which country would you like to have your project in?

A: Spain Maybe

Q: What element of a design is the most important thing to you?

A: You can build with lighting.

Q: What is your favourite cocktail?

A: Negroni for sure.
