A smart workspace for a smart company across two floors in Southwark Street

Woodhouse were appointed to support their on-going expansion, and deliver a workspace that aligned with their recently updated company branding and to create a hub for their UK operations.

Departing from their previous serviced offices, Woodhouse worked closely with Proact to understand the business culture and created several design concepts to accommodate a growing workforce.
Housing 65 staff, the interior design fitout was designed around them. One vital element of the design was to enable a mobile workforce with areas where they could entertain visiting clients without walking through the office and disrupting other staff.
The decision was made to create lounge and bar area on the first floor to encourage interaction between staff and clients.
Original details included an iron sliding barn door, timber decking and flooring, exposed ventilation system and large sash windows. Staff are rewarded with a raised outside decking area to take in the view across London and a floating island unit complete with designer seating to enjoy lunch.
