The design was inspired from the old glamorous Shanghai with a touch of Western colonial simplicity elements, creating a modern fine dining Chinese cuisine restaurant. The elegant Cheongsam dress, the rustic Chinese cabinet handles and the elegance of traditional oriental patterns are reinterpreted into today’s modernity and to fit into the overall space. An impressive entry reception, an open plan main dining hall and flexible vip rooms are the basic forms of the whole space. Marble stone, brass, customised carpet, grey stained wooden panels and tinted glass are some of the basic materials extensively used in the design.
