Gachi by Kimchee, by ARTTA Concept Studio, Hong Kong

A Korean BBQ hotspot designed by ARTTA Concept Studio operates in a self-serving manner where you can control the entire cooking process.

It is designed to look like a food factory where everything is revealed with concrete floor, exposed pipes and wide open kitchen area; we want the customers to have the pleasure of cooking whilst observing their surroundings. As the restaurant has a wide entrance, the designers uses bold black for the doors because it’s eye-catching as well as it being a classy welcoming for the customers.

The choice of red, black and white has been used to create a sophisticated and sharp look. This can be seen in the VIP area, the red wooden ceiling and bold black walls frames the room and enhances a chic and comfortable atmosphere.

By juxtaposing rough elements with contemporary furniture like the black tables and red and white chairs, the designers have created a modern look for the restaurant but also have a contrast of rustic and new.
