JULIANA MEDEIROS PROJECT FOR THE DESIGN FURNITURE BRAND ‘A LOT OF BRASIL’

Designed by Juliana Medeiros

The Brazilian design furniture brand “A Lot of Brasil” seeks to represent the Brazilianness through collections that draw inspiration from different regions of Brazil. In the 2019 edition of the Salone del Mobile Milano, in Italy, the tribute was for the archipelago of Fernando de Noronha, located in the Northeast region of Brazil, known worldwide for its natural beauty, and which also inspired the concept of the space where the brand presented its new collection.

Through a charming Skyline, a magical sunset and the energy of the people, the intention of the architect Juliana Medeiros, specialist in emotional architecture and who signs the project, the space took a piece of the brazilian island to Italy and filled with life the Pavilion 20.

The shades of the sunset were present throughout the entire space. In the back panel, the intention was to bring the feeling of depth through several layers of the Skyline from some points of Noronha.

The harmony of the tones allowed the pieces to mimic themselves with personality in the space, enhancing the atmosphere from the moment of sunset, a concept that the project wanted to provide. The dozens of mobiles, representing shells, fish, birds, as each one felt, seemed to float in space and created almost like a spiritual portal. In them, reflections of the island's inhabitants and local stories reverberated this energy of care, love and complicity, through the feelings of those who care, experience and love Noronha. Bringing more of the island's soul to be felt through this space.
