Zooco Estudio is an architectural firm founded in 2008 in Madrid by the architects Miguel Crespo Picot, Javier Guzmán Benito and Sixto Martín Martínez. They have won different prizes and contests, among that stand out are the Cultural Civic Center of Soto de la Marina (Cantabria, 2009) and the Center for the Performing Arts in Verín (Galicia, 2011). They combine large-scale works with the creation and renovation of spaces in retail and residential sectors.
Q. Why did you get into Interior Design?
A. A client ordered us to do a project of a restaurant.

A. With a lot of effort
Q. Where does your inspiration come from?
A. From architecture
Q. Can you tell us about a significant accomplishment or project that you regard as notable?
A. The Center of Arts of Verin, which i sour biggest chagenlle, because of its scale and its difficulty.
Q. Where would you like to see your company in 5 years from now?
A. Working as today but with projects of more scale.
Q. What project(s) are you working on at the moment?
A. Canary Islands Hotel, La Maruca Restaurant, a shop in Madrid and a house in Torrelodones (Madrid)

A. A museum
