After the international debut of the LOCK brand at Stockholm Furniture and Light fair 2017, the newest series of the company were introduced locally at an exhibition held in Sofia.

The exhibition is expressing our vision of furniture in space, where the models are presented more like modern sculptures, rather than like functional furniture. Each element of the exhibition is specially illuminated by photographic lighting. This aims to underline the moment of art and to emphasize either on certain elements or on the shade that cast the objects.
The idea of the exhibition being held in an empty industrial space is to create two different environments: the first one is surrealistic, accomplished by exposing nude prototypes; the second one creates cozy home feeling by exposing serial models.
At the exhibition are presented two new series – Arch and Space.
“The Arch series are my tribute to the 50’s and 60’s popular stackable chairs”, says the designer Konstantin Achkov. They consist of chairs, chairs with armrest, low chairs, table, bar stools and table, desk. All products are flat-pack, using the brand specific joints for their assembly. The elements are made from solid beech or plywood. The seating vary from textile to natural leather.
The Space series consist of sofa, side tables and a coat stand. The series are special with the possibility to assemble and disassemble the products numerous times in an extremely user friendly way, again without the use if any screws, bolts etc. Provided in a very compact packaging, the products meet the highest standards of the modern nomad who makes no compromise with the design of the products that he/she buys.
Lock is a young company founded in 2014 focused upon design and production of flat-pack furniture and household goods, the assembly of which is based on a specific system of self-locking joints. The choice of materials and manufacturing practices are considered so that final products comply with modern ecological trends. The company is in a constant search of new fields of product development using innovative approach and newest technologies.
