Stick with Joy - The Masking Tape Creativity Fair, PMQ - Hong Kong
Colourscape - by LAAB Architects
A collaboration between PMQ and LAAB is a 10,000 square feet courtyard installation. Using multicoloured mt masking tapes weaved in classic patterns, as well as using arch and tube objects with mirror surface to project curvilinear reflections of the vibrant colour pattern creating a unique picturesque experience, bringing joy to everyone.
My Play House - A room that has used a variety of recycle materials such as carboard and wood panel to produce 'playhouses'. In order to make the playhouses more colourful and appealing, the team has also used environmentally-friendly paints and mt masking tapes to decorate the interior and the walls. A place for children and adults to have fun!
Love is in the City - A room that is filled with three-dimensional paper to show a touch of Hong Kong in a unique way by artist Jino Yeung. She uses a variety of mt masking tapes to re-create Hong Kong's cityscape. It's the little bits and pieces that portray the lives of Hongkongers.
MOViE MOViE - Pop-up Peepshow Cinema - This room brings back a lot of nostalgia, in the early days, films could only be viewed by one individual at at time through a peephole viewer-window located at the top of a Kinetoscope (A motion picture projector). If you ever come into this room, you will have a special experience of watching movies like in the good old days. The thematic exhibition room is decorated with masking tapes as well as quotes from all-time favourite movies.
