Smart!, an architecture and a real estate development studio, and the artist Heloisa Crocco. It’s the residential "Iguaçu" in Porto Alegre, in southern Brazil. The building has metal blades forming louvers and the ground panel, drawn from the research of the artist Heloisa Crocco. Views of the street, the slides highlight the building of its neighbors. From inside the apartments are like a picture hanging on the glass wall, creating shadows and reflections. Art works are at the same time, private and public. A main idea of the project was again approaching architecture and art, disciplines that were moving away in recent decades, but were intrinsically connected during modernism.
