A magnificent structure the 'Harbin Opera House' located on an island called Cultural Island which overlooks the Sonhua River has been design by MAD Architects
The curved facade is made of aluminum panels and glass pyramids that brings in natural sunglight into the lobbies. A large scale sculptre wooden staircase made out of Manchurian Ash Wood connects various parts of the building together.
