Designer Carolin Pertsch has created these magnificent 'Zostera Stools' all made from eelgrass (Zostera Marina). The idea came from the fact that when tourists visit the German beaches, all they see are tons of waste washed up, which includes a lot of eelgrass. Pertsch decided to challenge herself and see if she could create something with the eelgrass.
Behold, the new eco-material stool that comes in differenct colours depending on the seperation of the eelgrass shades.
